OVER 25 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE!
- Anderson Boat Cleaning is a Sarasota based, family-owned and operated business. Run by third-generation Floridians with deeply rooted ties to the local community, the brother and sister team of Donald and Teresa grew up boating, fishing and swimming in the waters of Sarasota. Their father, a commercial fisherman and environmental activist, taught them to love Sarasota Bay.
- By age 18 Donald was OMC (outboard marine corporation) certified in Johnson, Evenrude and Mercruiser motors. In 1994 he started working the yard at Siesta Key Marina. He spent 6 years working in a SCUBA hull cleaning company before starting his own mobile marine detailing company in 2009. From running rigging at the top of a mast, to repairing a keel, he has worked on just about every part of a boat.
- Teresa earned her degree in finance and has over 15 years of experience in the business world, with her primary fields focusing on accounting, finance, and business administration - a perfect fit when paired with her meticulous eye for detail. Within the last 10 years, she has shifted focus to prioritize more on building and running a home and family. Now with three kids of her own, Teresa is raising another generation to contribute and love Sarasota. Together with her brother, Teresa has taken to blending her prior business experience with her focus on family into a family-run enterprise.
- We take pride in our work, which is why we put our name on the side of our truck. We know and like our customers, and care about the health and well being of them and their families. When we are hired, THEIR boat becomes OUR boat, as all of our work is done from the viewpoint of how would we want OUR boat to be maintained, and we work with our customers to ensure their watercrafts are always ready for their enjoyment.
